Options Sniper early access is live

Options Sniper is in early access from today, 2 October 2026. The desktop app is free. It goes fully open source on 30 October, when the N‑T PRO Logic Pack also goes on sale.

What you get today

A Windows desktop terminal and a macOS build. It connects to a Webull account, researches before the bell, watches the opening range, and works a single short-dated options entry with a laddered limit order. It takes partial profit at a first target, trails the remainder, and has a stop that closes the position rather than hoping.

There is a JAM control that closes an open position on command, not merely at the end of the day, and it works mid‑trade. There is a paper mode that simulates fills against live quotes and keeps its own balance, so you can leave it running for a month without risking anything.

Early access is for paper trading. Live mode works and is not restricted, but the month exists so you can watch it on your own account, on your own fills, before any money is involved.

It ships with no strategy at all

This surprises people, so it is worth being plain about. Every strategy value in the shipped configuration is empty. Ask the engine for a target, a stop or a position size that has not been set and it refuses rather than reaching for a default. The FIRE control stays disabled until a strategy exists.

There are two ways to give it one. Build your own in the PACK BUILDER, which lists all fifty‑one parameters with their types and ranges and what each one does. Or buy the N‑T PRO Logic Pack on 30 October, which resolves its parameters from a licence service each morning.

The reason there is no default is not coyness. A trading default is a recommendation, and a recommendation that ships to everyone is one nobody chose. If a number is going to decide what you risk, you should have picked it or paid for it deliberately.

What it will not do

It will not tell you it makes money. There is no published win rate on this site and there is no promised return, and that is a settled position rather than an omission. The backtester included with the app runs on a synthetic tick path, which makes it a reasonable instrument for comparing one setting against another and a poor one for claiming an edge.

It will not trade without real‑time options data. On delayed quotes it is reading the past and placing orders against prices that no longer exist, and no amount of software fixes that. It will not work around your broker's permissions, and it will not fill an order the market will not fill — on one recent session it rejected its own setup because no contract passed the spread filter, which is the correct outcome and still feels like nothing happened.

Before you install

Two things are worth starting now because neither is instant: Webull API keys for both paper and live, and real‑time options market data on a non‑display agreement. The live keys are needed even if you only paper trade, because quotes come from the live endpoint while orders route to paper. What an options bot needs from Webull covers both, including which market‑data tier is the right one.

Trading options involves substantial risk of loss and is not appropriate for everyone. Nothing here is advice, and past results do not predict future results.
