What Makes It Different

Options Sniper is a Windows desktop application, not a signal service and not a subscription feed. It runs on your own machine, against your own brokerage account, under your control.

What sets it apart is the read behind it. A specialised Gemini triple-confluence method forms the core: independent reads have to line up before anything is treated as worth acting on. That is then layered against a live read of the session as it is actually trading, so the system answers to the market in front of it rather than to a stale snapshot.

Most retail tools do one or the other. They either run a static screen, or they chase whatever is moving right now. The combination is the whole point, and it is the part that took the longest to get right.

Paper And Live

The app starts in PAPER every time. Switching to LIVE requires typing the word LIVE to confirm, and is disabled entirely while the app is armed, so you cannot flip a running system onto real money by accident.

Paper mode is not a toy path bolted on the side. It runs the same system as the live path and writes to the same trade journal. What you see in paper is what live will do.

Backtesting Is Part Of The Tool

The simulator drives the real system over thousands of sessions with the wall clock removed, so a run that would take years finishes in seconds. You can put the whole thing through its paces, change something, and see what it did to the account — which is the quant experience most retail traders never get near.

An honest caveat, because it matters. The simulator's price path is generated. It is a good instrument for comparing one configuration against another and for showing what the account arithmetic does over a run of trades. It is not evidence of an edge against real markets, and we treat it accordingly: we publish no win rate and promise no return.

Risk Controls Are Not Optional

The single most important lesson from building this was that bet size, not accuracy, decides whether an account survives. Sizing too aggressively produces ruin across a run of trades no matter how good the reads are. The shipped configuration reflects that, and the guardrails are on by default.

Your Keys Stay Yours

Brokerage API credentials go into Windows Credential Manager, which is per-user and never travels with the app. Nothing personal ships in the installer: credentials, the trade journal, logs and lock files are all excluded, and the build refuses to run if it finds credentials in the bundle.
